Since 2017, I’ve been producing, filming, photographing, and editing stories of refugees served by the International Rescue Committee across the United States. These stories have included parents reuniting with children after decades apart; front-line workers serving their new communities; refugees pursuing public office and running marathons; and families celebrating long-awaited U.S. citizenship. Through this work, I’ve had the privilege to document the boundless energy and goodwill refugees inject into their new communities.
